It took only 8 home games for the investment of a Q-Matic queuing system at West Ham United's Stadium store to break even and start generating profit.

Sales of all West Ham related merchandise have shown significant increase since the system was installed late last year varying from 104% up to 1600% on certain categories. Customer service is also vastly improved.
Higher conversion rates
Thanks to a new layout of the queues and barriers, there is more space on the rest of the shop floor for larger goods. The queuing is orderly and the in-queue merchandise easier to sell. Previously, the entrance doors would have to be closed at times in order to manage the queues.

Store Manager Kerry Patterson said: "I have worked here for 10 years, and now that we have the new queuing system, this is the first time on a match day that we did not have to close the entrance doors."
The queuing solution includes brand new call forward supporting 14 tills, media screens featuring adverts produced by Q-Matic as well as branded barriers and Q-Matic's in-queue merchandising solution.
Further benefits achieved include higher conversion rates at the tills and an increase in footfall.
